Dear Parent or Guardian,

Welcome to the Portsmouth Christian Academy Theatre Program! My name is Grace Thorsen and I am the theatre director at PCA. I bring with me rich experience in theatre, a passion for education, and for the Lord. I am excited to guide your child in the exploration of their God given artistic talents as they participate in our school plays and theatre classes.

Your middle and Upper School students are highly encouraged to be a part of the fall and spring productions that will take place at PCA.Your lower school students are encouraged to join our children's theatre program that is offered through Kaleidoscope. There are many ways to become involved in a theatre production including acting, assistant directing, stage managing, designing, set construction, sound, costuming, lighting, props, backstage crew, publicity, ushering, concessions, and ticket sales.

We needs your help as well. Since theatre is a collaborative art, it requires many people's involvement for the optimal experience. If you or a family member can assist the Theatre Department this year in any of these categories please let me know. The rewards of being a part of a theatre community are great.  I have listed the tasks that we need your help with for current and future productions.
