Better known as Painless Fundraising, passive fundraising lets you contribute to PCA while doing your everyday shopping. These programs do not require a cash contribution. You simply save the appropriate proofs of purchase, receipts or identify yourself to a business using a PCA identification code. Each seemingly small contribution adds up in a big way to benefit a variety of PCA programs.

The Hannaford Helps Schools program raises money to benefit K-12 schools across New England. Last year, 2,800 schools participated, and in addition to the "School Dollars" each school raised, every Hannaford store awarded the most successful school in their community, a check for an additional $1,000. When shopping in your local Hannaford, donate your Hannaford Helps Schools certificates to PCA either in the collection container at the front of the store or bring to PCA.
