Simply put, PCA’s music program is exceptional. 

Classroom music in the lower grades transitions to a performance-based program beginning in fourth grade.  All students in grades 4-8 perform in one of the musical groups (orchestra, band, guitar and chorus ).

With a strings program that introduces instrumental music to all third graders by giving them an opportunity to learn the violin, PCA stands out with two Lower School band and orchestra opportunities.  PCA is one of the few schools in the Seacoast to offer an orchestra at the Upper School level.  Additionally high school students can enjoy opportunities in choral music and individual instrumental instruction.

PCA students participate in the regional strings festival and the music department has students each year who qualify for All-State.

Parents can choose to add individual lessons through the PCA music faculty.
