Portsmouth Christian Academy is located on 50 acres along the Bellamy
River in Dover. The lower school facility is currently housed in one
building which contains a large main school complex of four distinct
sections (preschool, elementary, junior high, and administration). The
main complex includes a three-story building with two fully equipped
science labs for the junior high science program, a computer center,
two art studios, a library, and a music conservatory.
The upper school consists of two newly constructed buildings which
contain state-of-the-art science and computer labs, as well as a new
library. New programs include: Digital Photography and Computer Aided
Design (CAD).
Upper school students participate in NHIAA Class "S" athletic
competition, which includes softball, soccer and volleyball teams at
both Varsity and Junior Varsity levels. The athletic program is
supported by two gymnasiums. Our main gymnasium has adjacent locker
areas and athletic offices, and is attached to the lower school
academic building.
Our performing arts stage is equipped with the latest in sound and
lighting technology. The gym has been treated with a special sound
absorbing material that makes it more suitable for musical and dramatic
performances.
