Kaleidoscope
For many PCA students, the learning continues after school in the acclaimed Kaleidoscope program. This program provides additional classes in the arts, problem solving, athletics, curriculum enrichment, life skills and study skills. Offerings include cooking classes, karate, music and art lessons, science workshops, homework help, and more. For a complete list of offerings which change each quarter, follow this link.

Community Service
PCA is intentional about helping students learn to serve others. At each grade level, PCA has goals in community service beginning at the school level, then the local area, region, and finally international opportunities. Some students partner in collecting food for local food programs. Others raise money to allow them to partner with international aid groups. Some students will sing in the Bellamy Fields elderly care facility.

Peer Education
Beginning in the fourth grade, students are paired up with younger students to serve as Reading Buddies. The classes spend time together each week reading, interacting and making lasting friendships.

STAR Center

Before and After Care
Need to drop off your children early or need childcare after school? PCA provides both through our before and after care programs. Students will enjoy free play and an opportunity to complete homework in the safety and convenience of the school environment.
Math Team
PCA offers junior high students an opportunity to compete interscholastically through the national MathCounts! program. This program is designed to prepare students for the Upper School math team, a perennial power in the Seacoast region and the Class “S” state champions in 2009.

Student Council
PCA offers students in grades 4-8 the opportunity to participate in a student council program that combines elements of social programming, community service, and representational government.
