DOVER, NH -- Tuesday, Sept. 29, marks the kick-off of Homecoming Week at Portsmouth Christian Academy. Students engage in friendly class challenges for an annual spirit competition. Each day a theme is selected and students dress-up accordingly. Together, each class competes and is judged for the most spirit. During Friday’s pep rally, the class with the most points is announced and will receive a “jeans day” and pizza luncheon. Among the line-up for other activities are Penny Wars, a scavenger hunt, and a class unity project.
Other anticipated events include Tuesday through Friday class competitions, a Friday lunch pep rally, and a Saturday Homecoming tailgate barbeque with an evening bonfire (for current Upper School students and alumni) to culminate the week-long celebration. Homecoming Week gives students a chance to create long-lasting relationships and to engage in fun, spirit-building activities.
