DOVER, NH — Joining in prayer with other students across the nation, Portsmouth Christian Academy Upper and Lower School students gathered around the flagpole at 7:40 a.m. Wednesday. This student-led event, which originated in Burleson, Texas in 1990, encourages students to pray for their schools, friends, leaders, and for their country.
An activity that began with one small youth group almost 20 years ago has grown to include students in all 50 states, as well as other countries. It is a way for like-minded believers to unite, seek the heart of God, and to bring hope to one another.
Portsmouth Christian Academy is located at 20 Seaborne Drive, Dover, NH. Directions to the school can be found on its website, www.pcaschool.org. For more information, please call 603.742.3617.
