DOVER, NH —Portsmouth Christian Academy at Dover is teaming up with the American Red Cross to host their 3rd annual blood drive on March 22nd. The event will take place at PCA in Troiano Hall from 1:30 – 6:30 p.m. and is open to the public.
Donated blood plays a critical role in surgery and emergency care. A unit of blood donated can save as many as three lives. Being a volunteer donor will touch someone’s life.
No appointments are necessary. To be eligible to donate blood, healthy people must be at least 17 years old and weigh a minimum of 110 pounds; valid photo identification is required. Donors wishing to take advantage of pre-registering to make their appointments can go to www.redcrossblood.org/make-donation and follow the instructions. For details, call 603.742.3617, Ext. 114.
All presenting donors will receive an American Red Cross/Red Sox t-shirt.
Troiano Hall is located in the Upper School Science and Arts Building at Portsmouth Christian Academy, 20 Seaborne Drive, Dover. Visit the school’s web site at www.pcaschool.org.
