The Portsmouth Christian Academy at Dover Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Heintz as Director of Development.
Heintz comes to PCA with an extensive background in Christian school administration. Prior to joining PCA, he has served as an Athletic Director at Westminster Christian School in Miami, FL and has also held a similar position at Lexington Christian Academy in Lexington, MA. Steve brings a wealth of financial experience as well, in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors.
As Director of Development, Heintz will be developing and executing fundraising plans to support two key portions of PCA’s development program: the Annual Fund and the major donor program. He will oversee the school’s development staff in such areas as PCA’s Annual Benefit Auction, public relations, and the support of our volunteer community.
With a significant volunteer community already established at PCA, Heintz feels he is ready to help take the school to the next level. Of his appointment Steve states, “Under PCA’s current leadership with Brian Bell as Head of School and such an excellent group of administrators, I can see how the school is poised to become a leading Christian independent school in the Northeast. There is already the critical resource of great faculty and outstanding facilities, so my responsibility will be to help equip PCA with additional financial resources that will enhance their teaching gifts.”
Raised in New England, Heintz relocated from Florida to Massachusetts with his wife and four children.
